Common Teal (Anas crecca) is a common winter visitor in India. This bird is found in the wetlands.
Size: 38 cm
Identification: Male - Grayish with chestnut head and a broad metallic
green band, running backward from eye to nape, bordered above and below with
white lines. Black, green and buff colored wing speculum. Female - Mottled
dark and light brown with pale underparts. Black and green speculum.
