Greylag Goose (Anser anser) is a common winter visitor to north India. This bird is found in large wetlands.

Identification: It is mainly brown with a gray rump and white tail. Flesh pink colored bill is diagnostic.    Size: 80 cm

Food: Tubers, grass, crops, aquatic weeds.
